SIZE CHARTS AND HOW TO TAKE MEASUREMENT
Total height
Find a flat, straight object such as a book, ruler, or box. Place the object on top of the head and stand with the back straight against a wall and feet flat. Ensure the chosen object is straight and parallel with the floor. Use a pencil or other erasable writing instrument to mark the wall where the object touches the top of the head. Measure the length from the floor to the marking. Before measuring height, remove shoes and hats.
Neck measurement
Wrap the measuring tape around the base of your neck, going around your Adam’s apple. Ensure that the tape is consistently level and that you’re not wrapping the tape too tightly around your neck.
Chest or Bust
Place one end of the tape measure at the fullest part of your bust and wrap it around your body to get the measurement, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Do wear a supportive bra to ensure your breasts are being held in the correct place.
Do make sure you are relaxed.
Do take at least 3 measurements and go with the widest one as the most accurate.
WAIST
To measure your natural waist, you want to find the narrowest part of your waist, located above your belly button and below your rib cage.
Do make sure that you are measuring the right part of torso. The waist is the smallest, or narrowest part of your body. This should be somewhere between your navel and your ribcage.
Do bend sideways, if you still can’t figure out exactly where your waist is. The part that contracts or creases is your natural waist.
Do make sure you are standing up straight, but slightly relaxed.
Do make sure your measuring tape is parallel to the floor.
HIP
Stand with your hips together and measure the fullest part of your hips. Be sure to go over your buttocks as well. It might be challenging to keep the tape consistently level when you do it alone; it is recommended that you have a friend assists you or that you do it in front of a mirror.
Do make sure you measure the correct area and the tape must be a little loose.
Do take more than 1 measurement and go with the widest one.
Inseam
This measurement is used for trousers and jeans.
Measure it from the crotch to the hem on a pair of pants that fit you perfectly
The inseam is the distance from the uppermost part of your thigh to your ankle.
When measurement is taken be sure that the tape is touching the thigh, the knee to the ankle on your inner leg.
